Founded in 1999, Hangzhou Freqcontrol Electronic Technology Ltd. is a China leading manufacturer of piezoelectric crystal wafers, substrates, components and single crystal growth. We, known as the "CQT Group" in global market, headquartered in Hangzhou, China, empowered by its manufacturing sites in Shanghai, Jiaxing and Deqin etc.

Our products are mainly used in RF Telecom, Semiconductor, Biotech, Optical engineering and frequency control industries. The monthly production capacity: 500K single quartz blanks (SC, AT, IT, FC, etc.), 20K quartz wafers (AT, ST, X, Z, etc.), 10K LiNbO3 wafers (3~8 inch), 10K glass wafers (Fused silica, Borofloat33, Corning, etc.), 8K LiTaO3 wafers (3~6 inch), and 100K filters/oscillators (VCXO, TCXO).

The CQT Group consists of five major plants with total floor area over 10,000 m². Our production machines include crystal growth furnace, wire saw, X-ray orientation, grinding machine, polishing machine, chamfering machine, CNC, REDOX chambers etc. Inspection equipment include Flatmaster 200, AOI, profilometer, optical imager, X-ray inspector etc. We are also equipped with Class 100 and 1000 clean rooms.

The CQT group is primarily known as the expert of hexagonal crystals, We master the manufacturing process of single & doubly rotated quartz blanks, and we can provide quartz of any orientation cut whether given by IRE , Miller index, Euler angle or conventional sign.

In addition to our leading quartz blank manufacturing capabilities, the last decade sees our major technological breakthroughs. We overcome the 3~6 inch ultra-thin wafer mass production barrier, obtained the reduction technology of black LiNbO3 & LiTaO3 wafers, and achieved 8 inch LiNbO3 wafer mass production successfully.

YEAR 1999: Set Up Hangzhou Freqcontrol Electronic Technology Ltd. (Splitting up from former China National Scientific instrument and materials company). We dedicated to provide different kinds Quartz blanks for piezo industry.

YEAR 2001: 4 founders started to set up Chintele Quartz Technology Co.ltd (CQT) to produce all size of quartz blanks and wafers to serve Piezo electric Industry in China and overseas. Main products are round & SMD blanks with etch & polsihed surface.

YEAR 2003: We started to enter into the PV industry by producing silicon wafers from single ingots to silced wafers. We invested Shanghai South Ocean Electronic Co,.ltd which prduce Quarz cyrstal units oscillator and TC/VCXO etc.

YEAR 2004: CQT set up facitlity, started to develop low frequency blanks and Monitor blanks (plano-convex); CQT import 1st double rotated angle sorters EFG for highly tighter angle sorting with stablility on temperature controlling for high end users who produce SC cut crystal which are for OCXO making. Angle tolerance can be controlled withing +/-7.5”.

YEAR 2006: CQT Set up facility for SC-cut blanks. Bought more EFG machines and other equipments to enlarger production capability in order to match developed market for SC-cut blanks.

YEAR 2007: Start to develop new products:LiNbO3, LiTaO3,quart wafers of 3” and 4” for SAW application.

YEAR 2008: CQT Set up new factory to produce QCM crystals, plate Gold, Silver different materils, apply for thin film induster.

YEAR 2010: Start to develop products for different glass substrate wafers at large size up to 12".

YEAR 2012: CQT headquarters moved to Hangzhou Qianjiang new city CBD. CQT Set up new factory to produce LINbO3,LITaO3, quart wafers and all glass substrate wafers size from 2"-12". We are committed to the supply of all types of substrate wafers to the microelectronics industry.

YEAR 2014: CQT work with CETC DHE, developed 6" Black LINbO3, LITaO3 also with Fe doped wafers.CQT worked as DHE's overseas sales represent for marketing the all LN ande substrates which is used at Smart phone industry.

YEAR 2016: Set up HongKong branch to develop overseas market.
