Fluoride Crystal CaF2 BaF2 MgF2 LiF used in Laser Infrared Ultraviolet and High-energy Detection
Fluoride optical crystal products include calcium fluoride (CaF2), barium fluoride (BaF2), lithium fluoride (LiF) and other alkaline earth metal ion fluoride crystals. The range of transmittance of this series of crystals is 0.11~12.5 um, which makess them excellent ultraviolet and infrared optical materials. They are widely used as infrared window, optical lens, prism, wave plate, objective lens and other optical applications.
Calcium fluoride (CaF2) has good mechanical strength and moisture resistance, and it has a high transmittance in the band 0.13um~11um. It is used in laser, infrared, ultraviolet and high-energy detection fields. It is also a high-quality material for making optical components such as optical prism, lens and window. Its operating temperature under atmospheric pressure can reach 600℃, vacuum drying can reach 800℃. Barium fluoride (BaF2) is widely used in infrared window, ultraviolet window and prism. Lithium fluoride (LiF) is the material with the best transmittance in the vacuum ultraviolet region, and it is widely used to manufacture optical Windows, lenses, prisms and refraction elements in the UV-visible-infrared field.
